recently asked how long someone has to file a claim in Workers’ Compensation. The general rule is one year from the date of injury. If your injuries happened over a period of time and it’s happened over a number of years, and you continue to get injured, that time is extended over time. The general rule is that you have one year from the date of injury to file the claim.
